Laguiole Knives

The Laguiole originated as a herdsman’s knife and is a blend of Spanish and French craft influences.  This style knife was first produced commercially in the early 1800’s.  “Laguiole” knives  have become so popular worldwide, there are many levels of quality and “knock offs”.  Forge de Laguiole, located in the town of  Laguiole, is the maker and our source of these authentic French made Laguiole knives.  9cm models have file work on spine.  7cm models are without file work on the spine.
